What Albany Homeowners Say

Wondering what it is like to work with a mold pro matched through our service. Here is an honest look at the kinds of experiences Albany area homeowners describe.

A quick note on transparency: the reviews below are illustrative composite examples based on common homeowner experiences, not reviews from real customers. We are new, and we would rather show you honest examples than publish fake reviews with made-up names.

A quick note about these reviews

Every testimonial on this page is an illustrative composite, written to show the kinds of results homeowners typically see. They are not reviews from real, named customers.

As we complete matches, we will collect verified reviews from real customers and replace these examples. We will never publish a fake review attributed to a real-sounding person, because trust is the whole point of this service.

What homeowners typically tell us

These composite examples reflect common experiences reported by homeowners who hire licensed mold professionals.

• The crew showed up on time, sealed off the basement, and explained every step before starting. The musty smell is finally gone. (Homeowner in Colonie)
• I appreciated that the assessor and the remediation crew were separate companies. It made the whole process feel honest. (Homeowner in Albany)
• They found mold behind the drywall that two other companies missed, fixed the moisture issue, and the price matched the written estimate exactly. (Homeowner in Guilderland)
• From the first phone call to the final walkthrough, everything was clear and professional. I never felt pressured into extra work. (Homeowner in Delmar)
• Our bathroom had mold coming back every few months. The pro fixed the ventilation problem causing it, and it has stayed clean since. (Homeowner in Troy)
• Fast scheduling, a tidy work area, and they handled the insurance documentation for our burst pipe claim. I would recommend them without hesitation. (Homeowner in Schenectady)

How we vet the pros we recommend

We check that every pro holds a current NYS mold license and carries proper insurance before we refer them. We also look for clear, upfront written pricing and a track record of professional work.

Just as important, we respect New York's separation between assessment and remediation, so you get an unbiased scope of work. If a company cuts corners on any of this, they do not get our referrals.
